Soulshine Interview with G. Love

December 23 ,2009

Soulshine’s Max Easton sits down for a chat with G. Love to talk about his recent Australian only release of Long Way Down, the first release from the band’s own label, Philadelphonic Records. This Australian-only album, and the mere fact that the country has become a solid touring destination for the group, with shows across the country almost every year, highlight the unique relationship that exists between the band and the country. With this most recent album, an international one on the way, a novel titled 101 Ways Not to Fuck Up Your Chances of Being a Rockstar, G. Love knows how to keep busy.

Check out the full interview to hear his take on everything from the state of the music industry to the pros and cons of going independent versus signing with a major record label to how to develop your own musical style.
